Aim of the activity

Work out the story of the video "Multilingual Birds" and retell. Deepen your engagement with art work and riddles.



Preparation for the activity

Download YouTube video "Multilingual Birds" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v254xSQexdM) AND/OR the e-book for children 0-6 at www.multilingual-famliies.eu



Procedure

1. Let your children watch the video "Multilingual Birds".
2. Let your children do all activities they are interested in out of the e-book.
3. Do a finger- and/or handprint drawing together.

No matter which acitivity your children and you choose out of the e-book, most important is of carrying out all activities in your language. What do you see? What do you think? What are the names of everything you see, how do you feel about the colours..?




Significant benefit of the activity

The activities in the e-book should encourage children to speak, describe, comment on their own playful work and motivate to use familiy and other languages.
