Multilingual Families Final Conference Success
On the 5th November 2014, almost 100 educators and stakeholders gathered in Spoleczna Akademia Nauk, Lodz. Poland, for the final conference of the project. Presentations included speakers from the project and experts on different aspects of raising multilingual children. Four workshops took place as well where practical ideas were discussed and tried out by participants.

eStory books for young children launched
Multilingual Families selected as good practice
The EACEA agency in Brussels has selected the MF project as a good practice. This will be announced at their event in October 2013. We will post more information later about this honour for the project.
3rd Project Meeting - Bilbao, Spain
The third project meeting was held in Bilbao, Spain. 24th and 25th February 2014. where the final resources of the project and the final conference were discussed.

Information days are being held twice during the duration of the project to parents, teachers and stakeholders.

Conference "Motivation in language education"
Multilingual Families was represented on a panel 'Motivating to Learning Less Widely Used Languages'.
At the University of Warsaw, Poland, 24th September 2013. The conference was organised by Representation of the European Commission, Foundation for the Development of the Education System (FRSE), Representation of the European Commission, European Union of National Institute of Culture (EUNIC), Ministry of National Education (MEN), University of Warsaw (UW) in cooperation with European Centre for Modern Languages (ECML), Centre for Education Development (ORE) and Warsaw City Hall’s Department of Education.

Multilingual Families has been honoured to be the European featured project of the week for the EU Commission, Languages Newsletter. Translated in to eleven European community languages.
Second Partnership Meeting
The second meeting, that looked at project progress and the next tasks for the partnership, took place at Language School Pelikan, Brno, Czech Republic on the 24 and 25th of June 2013
The Facebook page of the project was launched and is being posted to regularly with news of the project and items of interest in the area of bringing up children multilingually.
Kick-off Meeting
The Kick of meeting for the project took place in Jena, Germany on the 8th and 9th January 2013.
